ARTICLE IX. Committees and Paid Positions
Section 1. Committees
- Committees may be appointed by the board to serve specific purposes. Committee members may be non-members as well as board members but must be CHJA members in good standing.
- An individual may not serve on more than three committees and may not serve as Chair of more than two committees
- Committee members, by accepting their appointments, agree to attend meetings, respond to Emails, and be accountable for assignments.
- Committee chairs will provide written reports for each board meeting as well as a final report of committee activities at the December meeting.
Section 2. Paid Positions
The Board of Directors may contract individuals to accomplish duties on behalf of the association. The duties of the individuals will be determined by the Board and set forth in writing. If a position is available, the position description and amount to be paid shall be posted on the CHJA web site.
