This past show season was nothing short of a success for CHJA and its members. Here’s a quick look back at some highlights.

Copper Penny

COPPER PENNY SHOWS EXPAND TO TWO WEEKS

This year, CHJA hosted two locally rated horse shows in Estes Park. Copper Penny 1 and 2 proved to be highly successful and well-received. And did we mention the support of our fabulous sponsors? What a great two weeks of showing!

Member Benefits Clinic

ROB GAGE HEADLINES ANNUAL MEMBER BENEFITS CLINIC

Noted World Cup Grand Prix rider and coach Rob Gage joined us in Estes Park between our two Copper Penny shows to conduct a clinic for selected riders.

Fall Finale Show

FALL FINALE SHOW DEBUTS

Tracye Ferguson, show manager and CHJA vice-president, noted that the Fall Finale Show gave the membership a first glance at how a true year-end championship horse show would look for our organization. She continued to say, "So many trainers and exhibitors have approached me since to tell me how much fun they had and how much the loved it!"

Medal Finals

MEDALS FINALS ENJOYS SUCCESS

The annual CHJA Medal Finals competition at the National Western Complex is always the highlight of the show season. Many riders work hard throughout the year to earn a trip to this special multi-day event. 2018 was no different.

Outreach Program

CHJA STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE DEVELOPS OUTREACH PROGRAM

Several years of work by CHJA’s Strategic Planning Committee became a reality with the adoption of a package of Bylaws and Rule Changes which will create the CHJA Outreach Program. Juniors and adults can join CHJA as an Outreach Member beginning with the 2019 show season.
