I have enjoyed being on the board the past two years. I have especially liked being the head of the JR committee this past year, and have a lot of ideas for the juniors in the coming years, including clinics, service projects, rider spotlights, fun junior activities, and opportunities for juniors to give back to CHJA through volunteer positions. Juniors are our future CHJA members so it is important to include them in the organization. I would really love the chance to continue my position with CHJA, as I have some good ideas and a lot more to give to my position. In addition, I think it is nice to have an amateur on the board, as I bring a different perspective.
