The following Rule Change Proposals will be considered by the CHJA Board of Directors at a meeting to be held on October 6, 2025 , at 6:30 pm at the Double-Tree Hotel DTC Restaurant. Rule 2.1 D.

Add: excluding Outreach or Schooling Shows

Rule 3.9 Safety Cups

Remove the words “FEI approved”.

Rule 7.17 Group 3 Divisions and all other applicable rules

Add a CHJA 2’-2’3” Open Hunter Division

Rule 8.3 K and 8.3 L and all other applicable rules Pre-Children's and Pre-Adult Hunters

Delete these two Divisions and replace them with Low Children’s and Low-Adult Hunters. Specs per Zone 8.

Fences 2’6”

Riders may not cross enter into any class or section at the same competition where fences exceed 1.10M or 3’6”.

No cross-entry restrictions for horses. Horse-1 rider combination may not cross enter into any class or section at the same competition where fences exceed 2’9” (Exception 3’Equitation)

Low Adult and Low Children’s Hunters may be combined if there are fewer than 3 entries in each Section.

Rule 9.4E and F .85 Jumper and .85 Pony Jumper Classes may not be run under Table II.1 (straight speed) or Table III (faults converted).

Rule 11.1

A. Medals may be offered more than once per show, but the same rider may not compete in the same medal more than once.

Rule 13.1

Add: Outreach Members must become full members in order to accumulate points for Year-End Awards or to qualify for Medal Finals.

Rule 13.2 Hunter and Equitation Outreach Divisions 18” and Higher may be combined.

Multiple Equitation and Medal Rules:

CHJA Equitation Classes and Divisions and all CHJA Medals will be compete and not complete.
