What is the Outreach Program?
The Outreach Program is an initiative to integrate beginner riders into CHJA horse shows. For a minimal fee, juniors and amateurs have a chance to gain showing experience while accumulating points for year end awards. Outreach members will also receive an email subscription to the CHJA newsletter.
Outreach Member Cost
$35 per year
Classes Offered
Each outreach division will consist of a minimum of 1 Hunter O/F class, 1 Equitation O/F class, 1 Hunter U/S or Pleasure class and 1 equitation class. Jumper divisions will consist of 3 classes to be run under at least two different USEF Jumper Tables. Shows can offer Show Champion and Reserve Champion.

Year End Program
Participants will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates at the end of the show year when they have earned 100, 75, and 50 points in a division. Points in Outreach Classes will be 10, 6, 4, 2, 1, ½ for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 place respectively.
Outreach Shows (for managers)
Fee for Outreach Approval: included in the $100 approval fee for Group II Shows
Fee for Freestanding Outreach Shows: $45
Freestanding Outreach Shows must have an EMT but are not required to have a Steward or Rules Representative.
